+ Born in Cairo, June 10, 1948 + Father Bishoy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery and a Master’s degree in Pediatrics. He completed part of his medical training in the U.S., including studies in bacteriology and a course in theology. + Father Bishoy was ordained on June 14, 1981, by Pope Shenouda III. + Previously served at the Church of the Virgin St. Mary in Rod El Farag, Cairo. + Serving at St. Mary Church in Pittsburgh, USA, from 1987 to the present. + Father Bishoy has taken courses in Patristics and Counseling. + Elevated to the rank of hegumen in September 2002 by His Holiness Pope Shenouda III.
