Fr. Abanoub Fana

Fr. Abanoub Fana was born on May 28, 1991, in Minya, Egypt. He studied civil engineering at Minya University before moving to the United States in 2012. In 2016, he graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and worked in the field for six years. Driven by a deepening faith, Fr. Abanoub pursued theological studies and earned a Master of Theology from Agoro University in 2021. He furthered his religious education with a Bachelor of Divinity from St. Athanasius Theological Seminary in Florida, in 2023. Fr. Abanoub was ordained as a priest on February 26, 2022, by His Grace Bishop Karas to serve at Saint Mary and Saint Bishoy Coptic Orthodox Church of Allentown, PA, and the Diocese of Pennsylvania and Its Affiliated Regions.
