St. Mary & ArchAngel Gabriel – Charleston, WV

+ The idea of forming a church community began in 2015 when an opportunity arose to buy a historical building from Kanawha Players, proposed by Mark Saad, to replace conducting prayers in a Catholic Chapel downtown, which was provided to them free of charge by the Catholic Church.

+ The first liturgy was held in August 2015 at the location of 309 Beauregard St in the church building.

+ The community rented a Catholic Chapel in downtown for prayer initially, before acquiring their own church building.
