St. Barnabas & St. Susanna – Baltimore, MD

+ The idea of establishing St. Barnabas and St. Susanna (SBSS) Coptic Orthodox Church of Baltimore began to form in the years prior to its inauguration in 2015.

+ The inaugural liturgy took place on September 5th, 2015, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Baltimore, MD.
 
+ Spaces rented for Sunday Liturgy prior to purchasing the church: Hyatt Place Baltimore Inner Harbor: 511 S Central Ave, Baltimore, MD 21202

The Grand: 225 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21201

+ The current church building, St. Stephen and St. James Lutheran church, was purchased on September 30th, 2019, and the first liturgy was prayed there after renovations on November 23rd, 2019.

 + The church purchased the adjoining courtyard on June 24th, 2022, and the adjoining townhome, known as Susanna’s House, on November 25th, 2022. These buildings serve as ancillary meeting space, Sunday school classes, and a mission house for missionaries coming to serve in Baltimore.
