تحت رعاية نيافة الحبر الجليل الأنبا كاراس، عقدت أول ندوة سنوية لطالبات وشابات المرحلة الثانوية تحت عنوان “مخلوقه بشكل عجيب ورائع”، وذلك في كنيسة الشهيد العظيم مارجرجس – فيلادلفيا، بحضور القمص مينا شهيد كاهن الكنيسة والقس بيتر مكاريوس كاهن كنيسة القديس الأنبا أنطونيوس – ميدفورد – نيوجيرسي. القى المحاضرات سيلفيا فرج، أخصائية اجتماعية وطبيبه نفسية، كما تضمنت مشاركة منظمة إنفاذ القانون القبطية الأمريكية برئاسة الملازم ماريانا زخاري. حيث حضر ٦ كنائس من كنائس الإيبارشية وكنيسة القديس أنطونيوس – ميدفورد – نيوجيرسي، وكنيسة رئيس الملائكة ميخائيل والقديس مينا – ستاتن ايلاند نيويورك.
ليبارك الرب كل عمل لمجد اسمه القدوس.

Under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Karas, the Young Women’s Ministry held its first annual seminar, for high school girls, titled “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made”. The event took place at St. George the Great Martyr Church – Philadelphia, attended Hegumen Fr. Mina Shaheid, the church’s priest, and Fr. Peter Makarious, the priest of St. Anthony Church – Medford, NJ. The speaker Silvia Farag, a licensed Social Worker and psychotherapist, and featured The Coptic American Law Enforcement Organization, headed by Lt. Mariana Zakhary. A total of six churches from the diocese attended, along with St. Anthony Church – Medford, NJ, and Archangel Michael & St. Mina Church – Staten Island, NY.
